This series of paintings was created through global trade: I took unauthorized snapshots of San Francisco Bay Area art collectors' homes that I then sent to painters in China to be made into 20" x 24" oil paintings. This conceptual art piece has built in failure; if I could re-sell the Chinese paintings back to the art collectors at a profit, I would save that money towards the purchase of my own home, but my position in the art market was too insubstantial for this scheme to work.
